BTS Jimin Leads Korean Spotify Charts as ‘Top Artist’

BTS Jimin continues to shine brightly on the Korean Spotify chart, breaking new records as a top artist.

According to the latest Spotify chart released on June 21, Jimin achieved the 1st position 50 times on the Spotify Korea Weekly Top Artist chart for the week of June 14 to June 20. He stands out as the only solo singer to achieve this milestone.

On June 20 alone, Jimin topped the Spotify Korea Daily Top Artist chart for the 336th time, extending his record as the solo artist with the most number of 1st place rankings in the history of this chart.

The Spotify Top Artist chart ranks artists based on their daily or weekly streaming numbers. Jimin‘s title track ‘Like Crazy’ from the ‘FACE’ album, along with other hits like ‘Closer Than This’ and collaborative songs, consistently maintain top spots, demonstrating his enduring popularity.

‘Like Crazy’ made history by becoming the first song to top the Spotify Korea Daily Top Song chart on June 19 and continued its reign on June 20, marking an unprecedented 240 days as the daily 1st place holder since Spotify’s launch in Korea.

Moreover, on the Spotify Korea Weekly Top Song chart released on June 21 (covering June 14 to June 20), ‘Like Crazy’ secured its 36th consecutive week at 1st place, setting a new record as the only song to achieve this feat on the chart.

Jimin‘s song continues to break records for the most daily and weekly 1st place rankings on the Spotify Korea Top Song chart, maintaining its long-term success.

Jimin‘s upcoming 2nd solo album ‘MUSE’ is scheduled for a global simultaneous release on July 19 at 1 PM (Korea time), generating high anticipation and expected to maintain his soaring popularity.
