I.M from MONSTA X is stepping into a new role as a radio DJ! On the 20th, his agency, Sony Music Entertainment Korea, shared, “Starting July 1, I.M will be the 12th DJ for KBS Cool FM’s ‘Kiss the Radio’ and will meet listeners.”
‘Kiss the Radio’ is a popular late-night show where idol DJs like Danny Ahn, Super Junior‘s Lee Hong-ki, DAY6‘s Young K, and BTOB‘s Minhyuk have connected with the MZ generation. The show airs every night from 10 PM to midnight.
I.M debuted with MONSTA X in 2015 and began his solo career in 2022 by signing with Sony Music. He’s released solo albums like ‘OVERDRIVE’ and ‘Off The Beat’, showing his love for music through his songwriting and composing.
He’s also connected with fans in real-time with MONSTA X‘s Kihyun on Naver Now’s ‘Late Night Idol’ and recently hosted KBS K-POP’s YouTube show ‘I.M on the Beat’. Fans are excited to see the new charm I.M will bring as a radio DJ with his steady hosting skills.
I.M‘s ‘Kiss the Radio’ will start on July 1 at 10 PM on KBS Cool FM. Fans can also tune in on the KBS Kong app, KBS Plus, and YouTube streaming.
