• Song Joong Ki spotted enjoying a sunny hike with his son and wife Katy Louise Saunders

Actor Song Joong Ki and wife Katy Louise Saunders are capturing attention as everyday parents, sharing glimpses of their daily life.

On June 18th, Chinese media like 8world highlighted Song Joong Ki's sightings and posts on China's Xiaohongshu platform.

Earlier, on June 16th, a post showed Song Joong Ki and Katy Louise Saunders taking a walk. Instead of his usual Hallyu star image, Song Joong Ki drew notice as a dad pushing a stroller in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, despite the hot weather.

An observer shared, "The street was quiet until I heard a baby crying. I turned around and saw Song Joong Ki's family. I made eye contact with him. They were also with their pet dog." Describing his son, the observer noted, "Song Joong Ki's son looks like a mixed-race baby, and I could see chubby little feet sticking out of the stroller, which was adorable."

Previously, Song Joong Ki had politely asked fans not to take photos of his son when they were spotted in a park last May.

Chinese media covered Song Joong Ki's outing, analyzing the family's attire and emphasizing his status. The stroller he pushed, a German luxury brand from Company C, is known for its quality and costs approximately 1.65 million KRW on its official site.

In contrast, Song Joong Ki and Katy Louise Saunders opted for modest attire. Katie wore an SPA brand dress, which foreign media noted costs about 200,000 KRW. Song Joong Ki wore a baseball cap and casual sneakers, keeping a low-profile appearance.

Song Joong Ki, who divorced actress Song Hye Kyo in 2019 and remarried Katy Louise Saunders in January 2023, welcomed their first son later that year.

Currently, Song Joong Ki is considering a role in the upcoming drama 'My Youth' (tentative title) as his next project.

During the broadcast, she revealed that negative online comments had deeply affected her. "I used to cry all the time reading comments. I get hurt easily. What might be a small wound for others feels like a huge blow to me," she shared, expressing the stress she faced from malicious remarks.

She also admitted that at one point, she wanted to leave everything behind. "I kept thinking, ‘How long do I have to keep working this hard?’ and it became overwhelming."
