HYBE's embezzlement case involving Min Hee Jin, the CEO of ADOR, is progressing as the police prepare to summon those involved for questioning.
At a press conference on the 17th, Seoul Police Chief Cho Ji-ho said, "The complainant submitted additional materials last week."
He added, "We've finished analyzing these materials and will summon the accused this week. Once the investigation is complete, we can decide on the next steps."
However, Min Hee Jin will not be part of this week's summons.
Chief Cho explained, "There are three people accused, including Min Hee Jin, but she is not on this week's summons list. We will question one of the other two."
Regarding a possible search and seizure, he stated, "If a voluntary investigation doesn't resolve the issue, we'll conduct a compulsory investigation. Right now, there's enough cooperation for a voluntary process. But if needed, we won't rule out other measures."
Previously, HYBE launched an audit after noticing signs that Min Hee Jin and other ADOR executives tried to take control.
On April 26th, HYBE filed an embezzlement complaint against Min Hee Jin and other ADOR executives at the Yongsan Police Station in Seoul.
