Dreamcatcher Enters ‘Summer Queen’ Competition After 7 Years, Confirms July Comeback

Dreamcatcher, composed of JiU, SuA, Siyeon, Handong, Yoohyeon, Dami, and Gahyeon, is gearing up for the ‘Summer Queen’ competition.

As reported by EDaily on the 17th, Dreamcatcher is set to release a new song in mid-July, marking their return to the music scene.

Last November, Dreamcatcher made waves with their 9th mini album ‘VillainS’, headlined by the title track ‘OOTD’. This comeback follows an 8-month hiatus, during which they topped music charts including MBC M’s ‘Show! Champion’, SBS M, and SBS FiL’s ‘The Show’.

During their break, Dreamcatcher stayed connected with their global fanbase, known as ‘InSomnia’, through the 2024 world tour ‘Luck Inside 7 Doors’, celebrating their 7th debut anniversary. In March, they delighted fans with a special single sharing the tour’s name, building anticipation for their upcoming comeback.

Originally debuting as MINX and rebranding as Dreamcatcher in 2017, the group has carved a niche with their unique blend of metal rock and distinctive worldview.

In 2022, they renewed their contract with Dreamcatcher Company, solidifying their position as a long-standing idol group.

Their iconic hits include ‘Chase Me’, ‘Good Night’, ‘Fly High’, ‘Deja Vu’, and ‘BONVOYAGE’.
