Actress Tang Wei has expressed her deep fondness for IU, capturing attention with her heartfelt sentiments.

On June 13th, a video titled "Tang Wei How Sweet? I want to call you sweetheart ~ | THE MMTG SHOW" was uploaded on the YouTube channel 'MMTG Civilization Express', featuring Tang Wei as a guest.

During the video, Tang Wei reminisced about her collaboration with IU in a music video, highlighting their bond.

"IU contacted me first about the music video. When she called, I immediately said, 'Oh, IU? Sure, count me in,'" Tang Wei shared, expressing her admiration for IU's talents and personality. "I really like IU. I admire everything about her – her talents, acting skills, and her cute and pretty personality."

Recalling a moment from the music video shoot, Tang Wei revealed an impromptu gesture towards IU. "During the shoot, I suddenly hugged IU as an ad-lib. Her eyes conveyed so much emotion, and I felt an instant connection,"

Tang Wei explained, jokingly adding, "IU's eyes have this guilty look."

Tang Wei reflected further, revealing a personal connection she felt with IU. "When I looked at IU, I saw my mother's face in her for a brief moment. It reminded me of old photos of my mother when she was young, with short hair and eyes that resembled IU's," she shared, highlighting the striking similarity she noticed.

Following the music video's completion, Tang Wei received a heartfelt handwritten letter from IU, prompting Tang Wei to personally craft a reply in Korean with the assistance of her husband. "It was a joyous experience to write back to IU. Even after some time had passed since we finished filming, I wanted to convey my gratitude," Tang Wei said warmly.

BLACKPINK’s Jisoo shared a surprising story from her trainee days!

On January 29, the latest episode of Dex’s Fridge Interview was released on YouTube. During the chat, Dex asked Jisoo if she ever rebelled or broke the rules as a trainee. She confidently replied, “Not at all. The only rebellion I had as a trainee was eating.”

Dex then jokingly imitated her younger self, saying, “I’m perfect, so why are they telling me not to eat? I’m going to eat tteokbokki!”

Jisoo laughed and admitted, “Actually, I was really chubby back then. They kept telling me to lose weight, but I always said, ‘No, I need to eat. I like myself chubby.’”

She even recalled a moment with YG Entertainment’s founder, Yang Hyun Suk:
“The boss told me to lose weight, and I responded like that. He just walked away, thinking, ‘She’s a weird one.’ I literally said, ‘No! I like myself chubby!’”

Jisoo then revealed that after she debuted, she naturally lost weight. She added, “Later, after I debuted and naturally lost weight, he was like, ‘You didn’t lose weight when I told you to, but now that you debuted, you did.’”
