Form B1A4 member and actor Jinyoung and TWICE's Dahyun are teaming up for the Korean remake of the Taiwanese hit movie "You Are the Apple of My Eye."

Directed by Jo Young Myung, the movie follows Jin Woo (played by Jinyoung) as he navigates the ups and downs of confessing his love to Sun Ah (played by Dahyun), his first love from his teenage years.

Fans are already buzzing with excitement over the casting of Jinyoung and Dahyun, eagerly anticipating the chemistry they'll bring to the screen. Recently released stills from the filming are only adding to the hype.

In the movie, Jinyoung will bring to life the playful character of Jin Woo, capturing the thrill of youth and the rollercoaster of emotions that come with first love.

Meanwhile, Dahyun will embody Sun Ah, a character who is shy yet strong-willed, ready to portray her role with grace and depth.

WJSN’s Bona and Yook Sung Jae just shared their surprising feelings about filming a kissing scene together, especially since they've been friends for 16 years!

On April 9, a video titled "I Never Thought the Day Would Come When I’d Kiss You" was posted to the Narae Sik channel. In the video, Bona and Yook Sung Jae opened up about their long friendship and their experience working together on a drama.

Bona revealed, “We’ve never talked about this publicly. No one really asked, so we didn’t mention it. We actually went to our first singer audition together. We auditioned for JYP and were trainees at Cube Entertainment."

She added, "We've been friends for 16 years now. Back then, we traveled around the country for two weeks preparing for our audition showcase. That’s when we first met.”

Yook Sung Jae also shared some memories, saying, “It’s surprising, but we both failed the final round of the JYP public audition and ended up joining Cube. While we were there, we met a lot of people our age, and I ended up staying close with Ji Yeon.”

When Park Na Rae asked if working together made them hesitate, Bona said, “We never even thought about working on the same project, but I remember thinking, ‘Wow, I never thought the day would come when I’d kiss you!’”

Park Na Rae jokingly replied, “It’s like me and Yang Se Hyung, right?” and both Yook Sung Jae and Bona laughed.

Yook Sung Jae explained how they made the scene work: “If either of us felt awkward, it wouldn’t have worked. But we both handled it professionally.”

Bona added, “At first, I was worried. It’s more awkward to act with someone you're close to. But it turned out to be really comfortable. After the first take, I thought, ‘This is great!’ We didn’t need to go through the process of getting close because we already had that friendship.”

Yook Sung Jae agreed, saying, “We didn’t rehearse much at first because we both knew how it would go, and that actually helped us during filming.”

It looks like their deep friendship made the acting experience more natural — even for a kissing scene!
