• NEXZ Gears Up for Explosive Debut Showcase Tour in Japan This August!

    Rookie boy group 'NEXZ' will embark on a debut showcase tour across three cities in Japan.

    JYP announced the debut showcase tour titled 'Ride the Vibe' on the official Japanese website of NEXZ on the 3rd.

    Starting in Fukuoka at the Marine Messe Fukuoka on August 3-4, NEXZ will perform in Osaka at the Edion Arena Osaka on August 17-18, and in Tokyo at the Musashino Forest Sport Plaza Arena on August 24-25.

    NEXZ debuted on the 20th of last month. Their single 'Ride the Vibe' topped the charts on local music sites such as iTunes Japan, Recochoku, Mu-Mo, and Mora immediately after its release.

    Even before the official release of their Japanese album, they were chosen as models for a beverage brand. The CM song 'Keep on Moving' was written and produced by Park Jin Young.

    Meanwhile, NEXZ is the first boy group JYP has introduced in about six years since Stray Kids. They aim to be active in both Korea and Japan, with a vision of leading the new generation and the future.

    Lee Min Ho recalled, "I was attending the Baeksang for the first time, and I was so excited. Since I wasn’t going as Goo Jun Pyo, but as Lee Min Ho, I styled my hair in a perm and was ready to go." However, things took an unexpected turn when he tripped and fell on the red carpet.

    He sighed, recalling, "That day, I fell. I fell and created so many memes. Even now, I look back and think, 'How did I walk that quickly on the red carpet?'"

    Laughing at his own clumsiness, he admitted, "I was moving at the speed of light, no composure, no focus. Honestly, more than the joy of winning the award, that day was chaotic and so embarrassing for me."

    Though his win was a highlight, Lee Min Ho humorously shared that the incident of tripping overshadowed the excitement of his achievement.

    It’s safe to say that while the fall became a funny meme, it also became a lesson in humility for the actor, and a moment that fans still remember to this day.
