• ADOR and NewJeans Generously Donate University Festival Profits to Korea Scholarship Foundation

    In a heartwarming display of generosity, ADOR and their affiliate group NewJeans have contributed the entire proceeds from university festivals to the Korea Scholarship Foundation.

    ADOR and NewJeans expressed their gratitude, stating, "Throughout the past week, performing at seven university festivals has showered us with immense strength and love. It's only fitting that we channel this affection back to students in need. We are deeply appreciative of this opportunity."

    The substantial donation from ADOR and NewJeans will be allocated towards aiding low-income university students with living expenses and housing costs.

    In response, the Korea Scholarship Foundation conveyed their appreciation, stating, "We extend our heartfelt gratitude to ADOR and NewJeans for their unwavering dedication to supporting economically disadvantaged university students. We are committed to facilitating stable academic pursuits for students facing hardships and hope that the recipients of these scholarships will embody the ethos of generosity and contribute to the virtuous cycle of giving back to society."

    NewJeans mesmerized audiences at various prestigious institutions, including Korea University, Chosun University, Dong-Eui University, Pusan National University, Dongguk University, Sejong University, and Chung-Ang University. Their performances, featuring captivating renditions of new tracks like "How Sweet" and "Bubble Gum" alongside a medley of chart-toppers, garnered enthusiastic applause.

    Notably, NewJeans' hit single "How Sweet" clinched the top spot in both the weekly popular songs and music videos categories on the YouTube Music Chart in Korea for the period of May 24-30.

    On a global scale, it soared to second place in the weekly popular songs category and secured the ninth position in music videos, showcasing its widespread appeal.

  • BTS's Jungkook Breaks Records as the First Asian Solo Artist with 70 Weeks on Two Billboard Global Charts

    BTS member Jungkook continues to prove his worldwide star power, setting another incredible record on the Billboard charts!

    As of the latest Billboard update (November 23), Jungkook’s hit solo single "Seven", which came out last July, ranked at No. 110 on the Global 200 chart. It also held strong at No. 64 on the Global (Excl. U.S.) chart, showing its lasting impact on international music fans.

    With this, Jungkook becomes the first-ever Asian solo artist to achieve 70 consecutive weeks on both the Global 200 and Global (Excl. U.S.) charts.

    That’s not all! His track "Standing Next to You", released last November, stayed on the Global (Excl. U.S.) chart at No. 140 for the 54th week, further solidifying his dominance.

    "Seven" has been making history since its release. Last year, it topped Billboard’s 2023 Global Summer Songs chart. This year, it claimed the No. 1 spot on the 2024 International Power Players chart, proving it’s a fan-favorite in over 200 countries.

    On Spotify, "Seven" became the first Asian artist’s song to surpass 2 billion streams, joining the exclusive "2 Billion Club." It also broke records by staying in Spotify’s Daily Top Songs Global Chart Top 50 for more than 350 days.

    Jungkook’s achievements didn’t stop there. His debut solo album GOLDEN made him the first and longest-charting Asian solo artist to stay on the Billboard 200 for 24 straight weeks. He also holds the record for 71 consecutive weeks on Spotify’s Weekly Top Albums Global Chart.

    At the prestigious 2024 MAMA Awards, Jungkook earned a triple crown, winning Best Male Artist, Best Dance Performance Male Solo, and Fans' Choice Male Top 10.
