Lee Hyori recently embarked on a healing journey by painting scenes from her childhood. On June 1st, she shared her artwork on Instagram, captioning it “huddled together.” The paintings depict six figures, presumably representing her family members.
During a road movie-style variety show with her mother on JTBC, Lee Hyori opened up about her marriage.
She revealed that she chose her husband because she believed they would have fewer fights compared to what she witnessed between her parents while growing up.
Even now, she feels nervous when she sees her mom and dad together, fearing that something might happen.
Her mother reflected on their past, recalling a time when six family members lived in a small room adjacent to her father’s barber shop. Financial struggles meant Lee Hyori often wore hand-me-down clothes. Despite the challenges, her mother expressed gratitude for Lee Hyori’s ongoing financial support.
