• Min Hee Jin Makes Waves with Press Conference Opening, Hints at Reconciliation with HYBE

CEO Min Hee Jin of ADOR made a striking appearance at a press conference held on May 31 at 2:30 PM KST, following an extraordinary shareholder's meeting earlier in the day.

With a serene smile gracing her face, Min Hee Jin addressed the gathered press, "Today, my heart feels lighter as I stand here victorious after the recent legal proceedings. This press conference holds significant importance for me, as it offers me a platform to share my reflections on the current state of affairs."

Expressing her gratitude, she began, "I am deeply thankful to many individuals who stood by me during what has undoubtedly been one of the most challenging periods of my life. To my acquaintances, well-wishers, and even those who voiced concerns for my well-being despite being strangers, your support has been invaluable. Though not everyone offered favorable words, I am overwhelmed by the outpouring of support I received."

With emotions surfacing, Min Hee Jin continued, "While I hold the position of president at a HYBE subsidiary, my primary role and allegiance lie with ADOR as its CEO. At times, the interests of these roles may conflict. The recent accusations of embezzlement against ADOR were unfounded, and I felt compelled to defend the integrity of my company."

Reflecting on the weight lifted off her shoulders post the exoneration, she stated, "Being absolved of these allegations has provided some relief. However, the damage caused by baseless accusations cannot be overlooked. My intention was never driven by personal gain but to uphold the vision I shared with the NewJeans team."

Highlighting the toll of the conflict on her plans for ADOR, she shared, "The past month's turmoil disrupted our preparations for significant endeavors, including a concert at the Tokyo Dome and a world tour slated for next year. Our focus was diverted from music releases and concert planning, causing considerable setbacks."

Expressing her desire for a fresh start, Min Hee Jin appealed, "I implore you to allow me to proceed with my plans for NewJeans. The recent events have inflicted emotional wounds on me and the members. If given the chance, I would reset everything and immerse myself in my work."

Addressing the dismissed ADOR board members, she affirmed, "I trust that they will continue to contribute to ADOR's success. Their dedication and expertise are indispensable to the company's growth."

In a surprising turn, Min Hee Jin extended an olive branch, stating, "I propose reconciliation with HYBE. While I did not initiate this conflict, I am committed to ADOR's future under my leadership. My decision prioritizes our shared vision over personal gain. Let us approach this situation with reason and goodwill."
