TvN's "Lovely Runner" concluded its romantic-comedy journey this week, adapted from the webcomic "Tomorrow’s Best" by True Beauty screenwriter Lee Si Eun. Starring Byeon Woo Seok as Ryu Sun Jae and Kim Hye Yoon as Im Sol, the show captivated audiences with its time-slip storyline.
Fans adored the chemistry between leads Im Sol and Ryu Sun Jae, portrayed by Kim Hye Yoon and Byeon Woo Seok. However, it was another actor who stole the spotlight with his portrayal of a supporting character.
That actor is N.Flying‘s Seunghyub, also known as Lee Seung Hyub and J.Don, who played ECLIPSE‘s Baek In Hyuk, Ryu Sun Jae's best friend.
Seunghyub, known for his appearances in various K-Dramas, including "Nevertheless" and "Sh**ting Stars," captured viewers' attention with his handsome looks and comedic character from the start.
In the finale, viewers were treated to hilarious scenes showcasing the bromance between Sun Jae and In Hyuk. In Hyuk proved to be the most supportive friend, assisting Sun Jae with his engagement ring selection and marriage proposal, leading to some of the series' funniest moments.
As the show concluded, viewers reflected on In Hyuk's unwavering support for Sun Jae, portrayed brilliantly by Seunghyub. Despite limited screen time, he delivered memorable and iconic moments.
Seunghyub's multi-talented background previously surprised "Lovely Runner" viewers, leaving them eager to learn more.
