• NewJeans Members Submit Petition Letters in Support of Min Hee Jin Amid Legal Battle with HYBE

As per reports on May 18 KST, all five members of NewJeans submitted petition letters to the Seoul Central District Court ahead of the HYBE vs. Min Hee Jin court hearing that took place on May 17 KST.

While the exact contents of the petition letters remain undisclosed, it’s reported that NewJeans expressed their support for Min Hee Jin.

Court documents from the May 17 hearing revealed that petition letters were submitted by Danielle Marsh, Kim Minji, Hanni Pham, Kang Haerin, and Lee Hyein.

This marks the first time the members of NewJeans have voiced their stance on the HYBE vs. Min Hee Jin dispute through legal documents since the issue came to light.

In related news, it was reported yesterday that the parents of the NewJeans members also submitted petition letters backing Min Hee Jin.

In response, HYBE’s legal representative stated in court, Min Hee Jin shows no interest in protecting the artists. If she truly sees herself as the ‘Mother of NewJeans’, she would shield them from hardships; instead, she is using the members as a shield for herself.”

Meanwhile, HYBE must prove that Min Hee Jin committed actions warranting her removal as CEO to prevent the civil court from revoking their voting rights at ADOR’s extraordinary shareholder’s meeting scheduled for May 31 KST.

If HYBE fails to prove its case, Min Hee Jin, who filed the request claiming that HYBE sought her removal without valid reasons, could retain her CEO position for up to five years.
