• Ryu Jun Yeol unable to hide his expression amid repeated questions about his recent controversy

Actor Ryu Jun Yeol who found himself in the middle of a love controversy with Han So Hee and ex girlfriend Hyeri, recently made his first public appearance and boy, it was quite a scene!

On May 10th, Ryu Jun Yeol was at the production announcement of Netflix's new series 'The 8 Show', held at the swanky Ambassador Pullman Hotel in Seoul. But instead of the show, all eyes were on him and his personal life.

'The 8 Show' is a thrilling Netflix series that follows the story of 8 individuals trapped in a mysterious space divided into 8 floors. They participate in a risky yet enticing show where the longer they stay, the more money they make.

Ryu Jun Yeol, who's been the talk of the town due to his recent love and breakup news, made his first official appearance since the controversy at this event.

Rumors of a rebound relationship started swirling when he acknowledged his relationship with Han So Hee in March. Ryu Jun Yeol chose to remain silent on these rumors, while Han So Hee stepped up to clarify, leaving fans intrigued.

Ryu Jun Yeol shared, "There were various posts on social media about my personal life, which were out of my control." He added, "I thought it was best to stay silent and accept the criticism rather than responding to each one."

He continued, "I've taken the time to read and reflect on the critical opinions. It's been a time of deep introspection since my debut. As this is a personal matter, I believe it's best discussed in a more appropriate setting," he concluded emphatically.

Hoping to steer the conversation back to his work, Ryu Jun Yeol added, "I'd like to focus on the show today." But alas, the questions about his personal life just kept coming.

One reporter even asked, "Considering the rumors surfaced during the promotion of your work, do you think you handled it well as a lead actor?" Ryu Jun Yeol couldn't hide his discomfort at the question.

In other news, 'The 8 Show', consisting of 8 episodes, is set to premiere on Netflix on May 17th.
