• HyunA Opens Up About Past Struggles with Starvation and Fainting Episodes

    Solo artist HyunA, who is set to make her first comeback in two years, recently appeared on MBC’s The Manager and made some heartfelt confessions.

    A preview for the upcoming episode revealed the inside of her house for the first time, showcasing all the cute props she made herself.

    In the preview, she reminisces about the past with her staff members and confessed about her struggles with food in the past. "I barely ate food back then. I suffered from vasovagal syncope after not eating anything for a week. They said it was a symptom that happens if you’re underweight," HyunA shared.

    She further revealed, "I used to eat just one piece of kimbap. I’ve fainted 12 times in a month before." These confessions shed light on the severe health issues she faced due to her diet.

    HyunA also shed tears as she remembered the hard times and stated, “Let’s not get sick and be healthy like I am now…” Her words reflect her current focus on health and well-being.

    Meanwhile, HyunA is set to drop her new album in November. The episode featuring her heartfelt confessions is set to air next Saturday at 11:10 PM KST.
