LE SSERAFIM’s Huh Yunjin recently spilled the beans on her secret weapon for cracking dad jokes: her own father! In an exclusive interview with ELLE KOREA, Yunjin shared the heartwarming backstory behind her witty humor.

On April 26th, ELLE Korea released a captivating video titled “LE SSERAFIM Huh Yunjin’s Dad Joke Source? Yunjin’s Unfiltered Vibes.” In this candid conversation, Yunjin opened up about her penchant for clever quips and the magic that makes them tick.

When asked about the witty jokes she exchanges with her fellow group members, Yunjin didn’t hold back. “They’re undeniably witty,” she confessed. “Sure, there are moments when I blush from embarrassment, but those who appreciate these jokes can relate. The secret sauce lies in the reactions—the way people respond is what truly makes them hilarious.”

Yunjin playfully revealed that Kazuha, one of her members, is the designated laugh track. “She’s the one who says, ‘Even if it’s a dad joke, you’ve got to commit!’ But don’t worry, she keeps it classy—no over-the-top cheesiness here.”

Delving deeper, Yunjin pondered the genetic roots of her dad joke prowess. “It’s as if these puns run in the family,” she mused. “Our father is quite the jokester too. So, Dad, if you’re watching, a big ‘Thank you!’ for shaping my sense of humor.”

As a woman honing her dad joke skills, Yunjin promised to keep evolving. “Stay tuned for more laughs,” she teased. “Our fellow members might find it challenging, but let’s revel in this light-hearted atmosphere together.”

And because we’re all curious about K-pop idols’ selfie game, Yunjin spilled the beans. “Confidence is key,” she advised. “When you snap a selfie, think, ‘I look fabulous in this frame.’ That mindset naturally captures your best angles and expressions. Personally, I purse my lips and work the lens to create dynamic shots.”

Lastly, Yunjin shared her time management mantra. “Whenever I have a free moment, I’m on the move,” she revealed. “I plan ahead—whether it’s writing lyrics or pursuing a passion—and seize the opportunity right away. That’s my secret sauce.”

On April 3, Jin visited Gilan Middle School in Gilan-myeon, Andong, to serve meals to disaster victims and firefighters. His actions brought much-needed comfort to the people in the area.

Gilan Middle School is where celebrity chef Baek Jong Won, a close friend of Jin, has been running a free meal service through his company, The Born Korea.
