• "I apologize to those who are worried..." — Ex-BB GIRLS Member Yujeong Gets Real About Leaving The Group

Yujeong, who used to be part of BB GIRLS, hit up her social media on April 22 KST to spill her feelings about splitting from the group.

After wrapping up her contract with Warner Music Korea, Yujeong has switched to using her real name, Nam Yujeong.

In the wake of this change, BB GIRLS announced the end of Yujeong’s exclusive contract and spilled the beans on plans for the group to carry on as a trio.

Expressing both thanks and regret, Yujeong said, “I want to say thank you and sorry to those who have had my back and worried about me.”

She went on to lift the lid on the complexities around her departure, acknowledging the suddenness of the decision and the internal battles she faced. “It’s a decision I’ve mulled over a gazillion times,” she admitted.

Looking back on her past doubts and fears, Yujeong confessed, “I’ve always been on the fence and scared, afraid of causing harm and hesitant to go it alone.”

But she stressed her resolve to embrace a new chapter with bravery and bounce-back ability. “I choose to leave my past fears in the rearview mirror and set off on a journey of self-love and growth,” she declared.
