After five years since their debut, the group Cherry Bullet has decided to disband.
On the 22nd, FNC Entertainment made an announcement, “Following extensive discussions and consultations, our artists Cherry Bullet members Haeyoon, Yuju, Bora, Jiwon, Remi, Chaerin, and May have officially concluded their group activities as of today.”
They further added, “Haeyoon, Jiwon, Remi, and May have chosen to end their contracts, while Yuju, Bora, and Chaerin will carry on with their individual activities under FNC Entertainment.”
The agency also extended an apology to fans, stating, “We request your continued support for the members as they embark on new journeys and for those who are about to start afresh.”
Cherry Bullet made their debut in January 2019 with the single album ‘Let’s Play Cherry Bullet’ and was the first new girl group from FNC Entertainment in over six years following AOA.
Initially a ten-member group, they reformed into a seven-member group after Mirae, Kokoro, and Linlin departed in December of the same year.
