• VIXX’s Hyuk started his mandatory military service

    Hyuk of the group VIXX has enlisted in the military.

    As per the announcement by the agency, Hyuk will commence his training on the 18th. He will undergo basic discipline training before beginning his service as a social worker.

    The agency expressed their hopes for Hyuk's return, stating, "We anticipate Hyuk's diligent service and look forward to his return."

    They also requested continuous support and encouragement from fans throughout his military service.

    Prior to his enlistment, Hyuk conveyed his heartfelt gratitude to fans during a fan meeting, promising to return and make them proud. He expressed his desire to create more memorable moments for them in the future.

    Hyuk debuted as a member of VIXX in 2012 and has been active in both music and acting since then.

    Following the release of their 5th mini album 'CONTINUUM' in November last year, the group embarked on a hiatus due to members' military enlistment.

    He sighed, recalling, "That day, I fell. I fell and created so many memes. Even now, I look back and think, 'How did I walk that quickly on the red carpet?'"

    Laughing at his own clumsiness, he admitted, "I was moving at the speed of light, no composure, no focus. Honestly, more than the joy of winning the award, that day was chaotic and so embarrassing for me."

    Though his win was a highlight, Lee Min Ho humorously shared that the incident of tripping overshadowed the excitement of his achievement.

    It’s safe to say that while the fall became a funny meme, it also became a lesson in humility for the actor, and a moment that fans still remember to this day.
