• Actor Kim Soo Hyun returns to the mic for 'Queen of Tears' OST after 10 years

    Actor Kim Soo Hyun is all set to lend his voice for the OST of his popular drama, 'Queen of Tears'.

    As confirmed by both the drama's production house and Kim Soo Hyun's agency, Gold Medalist, on April 18th, the actor has indeed participated in the OST of his tvN weekend drama.

    'Queen of Tears' is a captivating tale of love rekindled amidst a whirlwind of crises faced by a married couple of three years.

    The story revolves around Hong Hae In, the reigning queen of a department store and the third generation of the Queens Group, and Baek Hyun Woo, the son of a market leader and the prince of a supermarket. Kim Soo Hyun is seen passionately portraying the character of Baek Hyun Woo.

    It's been nearly a decade since Kim Soo Hyun last graced an OST with his voice. His previous contributions include the tracks 'If I' and 'Promise' for the SBS drama 'My Love from the Star' back in 2014.

    He has also showcased his vocal prowess in the OSTs of KBS 2TV's 'Dream High' and MBC's 'The Moon Embracing the Sun'.

    The team behind 'Queen of Tears' shared with Star News, "Kim Soo Hyun recently participated in the OST recording. Both the production team and Kim Soo Hyun are eager to give back to the viewers who have showered the drama with immense love."

    One of the most touching moments of her speech was when she recalled receiving the Best New Actress Award 21 years ago at the same ceremony.

    “Now, after 21 years, I’m receiving such a big award in the same place. It’s all thanks to the viewers and fans who have supported me. You’ve accepted my growth with love, and I’m incredibly grateful”, she said.

    Park Shin Hye didn’t forget to thank her agency’s CEO, who has been with her for two decades. “She supported me throughout my career and is like family to me,” Park Shin Hye expressed.

    She also showed appreciation to her fans, especially for their unwavering support even after she got married and became a mom.

    Ending her speech on an emotional note, Park Shin Hye shared how grateful she is to her husband, Choi Tae Joon, for his constant encouragement.

    “It’s hard to find someone who truly fits with you in life. Choi Tae Joon is that person for me. Even when I’m not confident, he always tells me I’m doing well, and I’m so thankful for that,” she said, touching the hearts of fans everywhere.

    Park Shin Hye’s heartfelt message left everyone in awe, and fans couldn’t be happier to see her receive such a well-deserved honor!
