LE SSERAFIM's Sakura recently opened up about her first-ever performance at Coachella.
On April 15th, Sakura took to Weverse, a global fan platform, to share a heartfelt letter in Japanese. She expressed, "The journey to Coachella was a learning experience. I aimed to create a stage that would be enjoyable even for those who were hearing our songs for the first time. Today was a day I'll never forget."
She went on to say, "I believe our determination shone through and we were able to deliver our best performance. Despite being a relatively new group, with less than two years since debut and only one tour under our belt, we gave it our all at Coachella. It was a day that felt like a lifetime, and it was all thanks to LE SSERAFIM."
Sakura also acknowledged the challenges that come with being in the spotlight, stating, "FEARNOTs, you too will face many challenges and injustices in life. But remember, only you truly know what you've done. I prepared sincerely for this stage, and I believe I was able to show everything I had."
She added, "Some might think we're still green. But nobody's perfect, and I firmly believe that we gave our best performance. I'm excited about our potential for growth and am committed to working even harder."
Walking through the Coachella grounds, Sakura was deeply moved by the audience's support. She shared, "Regardless of what others think, I trust my feelings. That's why I'm here. I won't betray myself and will continue to believe in myself."
She expressed her gratitude, saying, "I'm incredibly thankful to all the staff, dancers, band members, and everyone who helped bring this stage to life. And to FEARNOT, who came to the venue and those who watched the broadcast, I'm truly grateful. Your presence made me proud."
She concluded, "Thank you so much. I'll continue to strive to show you unimaginable scenes, so please keep supporting us."
Lastly, Sakura hinted at the upcoming second Coachella performance on April 20th, promising, "I'll give it my all next week as well."
On April 13th, LE SSERAFIM graced the stage on the second day of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. They performed a total of 10 songs, including the unreleased track '1-800-hot-n-fun', 'ANTIFRAGILE', 'FEARLESS', and 'Perfect Night'. However, their live performance sparked some controversy.
