Actor Jin Geon Woo who recently wrapped up his role as neurosurgeon Kang Tae Ho in the MBC weekend drama 'Wonderful World', expressed his hopes for future collaborations with co-star Cha Eun Woo.
'Wonderful World' is a captivating mystery drama where Eun Soo Hyun (played by Kim Nam Joo), who sought justice for her son's murder, uncovers a mysterious secret linked to that tragic day. Jin Geon Woo recently sat down with Maeil Economic Star Today to discuss his experiences on 'Wonderful World'.
In the drama, Jin Geon Woo portrayed Kang Tae Ho, a neurosurgery specialist and the younger sibling of Kang Suho (played by Kim Kang Woo). He won over audiences with his warm and natural portrayal of Kang Tae Ho, who stands by Eun Soo Hyun's side.
One of the highlights of the interview was Jin Geon Woo's desire to share more screen time with Cha Eun Woo. "I need to prepare more, but I think I can show a different side of me from now on. And it's a character that gets to interact a lot with Cha Eun Woo. We didn't have many scenes together in this drama, but I hope we can work together in the future."
Jin Geon Woo made his acting debut in the web drama 'Sweet Revenge' in 2017. He has since played a variety of roles, earning high praise for his performances.
When asked about future roles he'd like to take on, he said, "I don't choose roles, but I think a lot about the message the drama wants to convey. I have a soft spot for historical dramas with a modern twist, so I'd love to try those again."
He concluded, "I've received a lot of messages from people who watched 'Wonderful World'. My parents also enjoyed it a lot. The atmosphere on set was so great that I know I'm going to miss it. I'm also hopeful that I'll continue to be part of good projects. I still have a lot to show. I hope that opportunities will come like gifts. I want to work hard and present my best self to the audience."
