• Actor Jo Jung Suk reveals which of the characters he’s played is most similar to him

Actor Jo Jung Suk recently revealed which of the several characters he has played is most similar to him.

A video was posted on the Marie Claire Korea YouTube channel on March 28th, titled 'Jo Jung Suk's Life Character Among His Many Roles?!'. In this video, Jo Jung Suk talks about the various characters he has portrayed over his career.

When asked about the character he had the most fun playing, Jo Jung Suk didn't hesitate to name Lee Ik Joon from 'Hospital Playlist'.

He described Ik Joon as a character with a lively personality and many admirable qualities. Despite his light-hearted demeanor, Ik Joon is a character with deep thoughts and a serious attitude.

Jo Jung Suk also shared the character he'd love to be friends with in real life - Kang Sun Woo from 'Oh My Ghost'.

He was particularly drawn to Sun Woo's culinary skills, imagining how great it would be to enjoy delicious meals at Sun Woo's restaurant, engage in interesting conversations, and share a drink.

When asked about a character that excited him, Jo Jung Suk mentioned Hedwig. He shared his experience of performing in 'Hedwig' since 2006 for several seasons.

He fondly recalled moments when he admired his own reflection in the mirror, decked out in beautiful wigs, costumes, and makeup, and thought, 'Why am I so pretty today?' He admitted it felt a bit awkward to say it out loud but couldn't hide his affection for the character.

In response to the question, "Which character is most like you?", Jo Jung Suk again mentioned Lee Ik Joon from 'Hospital Playlist'. He felt that his own cheerful and positive nature, as well as his love for jokes, were reflected in Ik Joon.

Finally, when asked about the character of his life, Jo Jung Suk chose Hwashin from 'Jealousy Incarnate'. He expressed gratitude for the immense love he received while playing Hwashin.

Despite initial concerns from those around him about the character being a male breast cancer patient, Jo Jung Suk found the role intriguing.

He believes that the love he received from the audience makes Hwashin a character he can call the character of his life.

  • Kwon Min Ah worries fans with emotional post about fear and self-blame: “Everything feels scary, I need to get it together”

Former AOA member Kwon Min Ah—who opened up in the past about being bullied—has once again shared a deep and emotional message on social media, leaving fans feeling concerned and sending love.

On April 23, Min Ah took to her Instagram to write:
“I don’t know if I’ve become completely twisted, or if I’m just scared. Maybe I’m afraid the same thing will happen again. Everything feels scary. And I want to say something sharp to myself too—get it together.”

Along with the message, she posted a selfie where she wore a red knit top, had her hair half-up, and showed a soft pout with a calm expression. Though her outfit and style looked casual, the mood of her words felt heavy.

Fans aren’t sure if Min Ah was directing the message toward someone else or simply speaking to herself. The final line, “get it together,” sounds like a tough love reminder to herself—but also makes many wonder what she’s been going through recently.

People quickly filled the comment section with supportive messages, telling her to stay strong and reminding her she’s not alone.

Min Ah debuted with AOA in 2012 and left the group in 2019. In 2020, she made headlines when she revealed that she had been bullied during her time in the group. The confession caused a huge reaction in the K-pop world, leading to conversations about idols’ mental health and group dynamics.

Recently, she surprised fans when it was revealed she began working as a manager at a dermatology clinic, showing a new side of her life outside of the entertainment spotlight.

Fans continue to cheer her on, hoping she finds peace and happiness in whatever path she chooses next.
