• 'Queen of Tears' actor Park Sung Hoon shares his thought on playing villain roles, "I feel challenged"

    Park Sung Hoon, the actor who's been stealing our hearts in 'Queen of Tears', recently shared that he feels an adrenaline rush when he takes on roles that are a total 180 from his real-life persona.

    Currently, he's got us all hooked on his character Yoon Eun Sung, a mysterious M&A expert, in the hit tvN weekend drama 'Queen of Tears'. He's totally nailing it alongside co-stars Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Ji Won.

    In a photoshoot that dropped on March 26th, we got a glimpse of Park Sung Hoon's captivating gaze and his trendy style, rocking a bomber jacket and a leather jacket. The black and white shots, with their play of light and shadow, really made his portrait pop.

    During an interview, Park Sung Hoon opened up about his past roles. He described his 'Queen of Tears' character Yoon Eun Sung as "a guy who seems super sharp and gentle on the outside, but is actually hiding a ton of ambition."

    He also mentioned that he felt he got a lot of positive feedback when he played villains, like his character Jeon Jae Jun in 'The Glory'. He thinks it's because villains tend to leave a strong impression.

    Park Sung Hoon also shared, "When I play a character that's really different from who I am, I feel even more motivated to take on the challenge. It gives me a wider range to explore."
