• Kim Min Kyu hilariously recalls how 'Business Proposal' director helped him with intense kissing scene with Seol In Ah

Kim Min Kyu, the actor who's been making waves in the drama 'Business Proposal', recently shared some behind-the-scenes insights.

On March 14, 'Careet' channel released content from 'Business Proposal', featuring Kim Min Kyu. The video stirred up a conversation about a previously undiscussed kiss scene.

Kim Min Kyu shared, "In the original work, there's a scene where the character, Young Seo, removes his glasses. That scene was on my mind. I had to do a kiss scene, but doing it with glasses on felt awkward. So, I suggested Young Seo (played by Seol In Ah) to remove them. She agreed it would be less comfortable with them on."

He added, "I was concerned, but the director suggested doing it with glasses on. I insisted on removing them, and that decision was well-received. However, the scene I really put my heart into was the bed scene."

Kim Min Kyu, who had been rigorously working on his physique, expressed some disappointment about the bed scene.

He stressed, "I put everything into this scene. I wanted to change my image, to shed the 'young man' persona, so I trained intensely for two years."

He revealed his strict diet of 1kg of chicken breast daily, and his intense workout routine of four hours a day.

Despite his efforts, he felt his physique didn't show as well as he'd hoped. However, he was content, saying, "But it turned out for the better. The kiss scene was more loved."

When Kwang Hee humorously suggested, "Should we show off your body today?", Kim Min Kyu responded, "My body has returned to its original state," and shared a workout video from his 'Business Proposal' shoot days.

Kim Min Kyu, who impressed everyone with his chiseled abs, shared his workout mindset, saying, "If I can't endure this, I should quit being an actor. That's what keeps me going. Working out is really tough."
