Kim Chung Ha began by expressing her initial reservations about the song, mentioning that it deviated from her usual style.
However, she ultimately decided to take on the challenge, recognizing the potential for growth and exploration in trying something new. She shared, "I wanted to do a song that was more in line with the public's perception of me. But when I received this song, it felt so fresh and different. It kept lingering in my mind, and I felt that if I didn't try it now, I might regret it later."
The singer also expressed her gratitude towards Hongjoong for his collaboration on the track, praising his kindness and supportive nature.
She revealed that Hongjoong sent her vitamins and encouraging words right at the release time, showing his thoughtful gesture and being an "overall perfect human being."
In addition to discussing her music, Kim Chung Ha opened up about her personal experience with COVID-19, recalling the time when she was one of the first Korean celebrities to contract the virus in 2020.
She shared her feelings of fear and isolation during that period, expressing how the experience left a lasting impact on her. She mentioned, "At that time, everyone was afraid of COVID-19. I felt like I became a criminal."
Reflecting on the ordeal, she revealed that it has instilled a sense of trauma, making her hesitant to be in crowded places even now.
