On March 7, various media outlets reported that KBS2's 'The Seasons - Lee Hyori's Red Carpet' would be holding its final recording on March 26.
Although a representative of KBS2 commented, "We cannot confirm anything at this time," insiders claim that the program has decided to conclude with Lee Hyori's season being its last.
KBS2's 'The Seasons' started in spring 2023 with its first installment, 'Jay Park's Drive'. In the summer, it featured 'Choi Jung Hoon's Night Garden', and in the fall, it became 'AKMU's Last Goodbye'.
With the winter installment concluding soon, KBS2 has decided not to continue the seasonal music program. Instead, another project in the works may take over its time slot.
There were previous statements from KBS2 about veteran actress Lee Young Ae making her talk show MC debut with her program sometime this year.
While rumors suggested that Lee Young Ae's talk show might replace 'The Seasons' during the Friday evening time slot, KBS2 initially denied this.
However, many suspect that Lee Young Ae's new show is a likely candidate to take over the time slot occupied by 'The Seasons'.
The new talk show is expected to feature interactions with individuals from various careers, including professional athletes, political figures, social activists, and more.
