• NewJeans' Hyein opens up about finally working with IU: "I put my heart and soul singing her song"

    NewJeans' very own Hyein has made a stunning appearance on the cover of a fashion magazine.

    Gracing the March issue of Vogue Korea, released on February 17th, Hyein, an ambassador for Louis Vuitton House, showcased her unique charm and sophistication using the brand's jewelry collection.

    During the interview accompanying the photoshoot, Hyein shared, “The most joyous moments for me are when our audience is fully engaged and having a blast at our performances.” She added, “Our team always reminds each other to live in the moment when we're on stage.”

    Hyein also opened up about her experience featuring in 'Shh..', a track from IU's upcoming album 'The Winning', set to drop on February 20th.

    She expressed, "The opportunity to feature in IU's song was thrilling. I practiced relentlessly to bring out the uniqueness of my voice. I was determined to give my best during the recording."

    In the same issue, Vogue Korea highlighted 24 women who are shaping the modern era. Among them was Hyein of NewJeans, a group that has consistently topped domestic and international charts with every song they've released.

    They achieved the fastest debut-to-number-one on the U.S. Billboard main album chart, Billboard 200 (as of August 5, 2023), among K-pop groups, and had five songs enter the ‘Hot 100’ last year alone.

    Moreover, NewJeans bagged the 'Group of the Year' award at the ‘Billboard Women in Music Awards’, which honors female artists and producers who have significantly influenced the music industry over the past year. They are slated to perform at the awards ceremony in Los Angeles, USA, on the 6th of next month.

    On top of that, Jungkook’s Spotify profile has now amassed 8.3B streams (pre-filtered), making him the first K-pop soloist and the fastest Asian artist ever to reach this insane number!
