Park Ki Ryang, a renowned cheerleader, recently brought up her striking resemblance to (G)I-DLE's Miyeon.
During a recent episode of KBS 2TV's 'The Boss's Ears Are Donkey Ears', Park Ki Ryang was seen practicing (G)I-DLE's 'Queen Card' song with her juniors. During the practice, she mentioned, "I've heard that there's a resemblance between the members here and me."
Her juniors quickly chimed in, "You do look like Miyeon," to which she replied, "She does have that vibe." Park Ki Ryang recalled, “When (G)I-DLE made their debut, numerous articles claimed that Miyeon and I looked alike.”
However, Park Ki Ryang dismissed the comparison, stating, “In my opinion, we don’t really look alike.” Her junior cheerleaders disagreed, saying, "There's definitely a resemblance. Aren't you both incredibly beautiful?" and "You really do resemble Miyeon."
The studio erupted in laughter as they commented, “That junior has a knack for socializing.” Park Ki Ryang laughed and retorted, "Since I was born first, it's more accurate to say that Miyeon looks like me."
In a separate interview with the production team, she added, "It's flattering to be compared to someone as beautiful as Miyeon. I don't think it's a bad thing for Miyeon to resemble someone as pretty as me," which caused everyone to burst into laughter.
Jeon Hyun Moo couldn't help but sigh and say, “I knew you would say something like that. It never ends,” which resulted in more laughter.
In the same episode, the cheerleading teams led by Park Ki Ryang had the opportunity to learn a new dance from Mina Myoung, a dancer from the second season of ‘Street Woman Fighter.’
