• "He was fantastic" — BIBI says Song Joong Ki instantly gave her money for a new phone "without hesitation"

In a recent episode of MBC's 'Radio Star', singer and actress BIBI shared some interesting anecdotes about her journey in the entertainment industry and her interaction with actor Song Joong Ki.

BIBI, who has been in the industry for about four years, has made significant strides in both her music and acting careers.

Her accomplishments didn't go unnoticed by host Kim Gu Ra, who acknowledged her impressive achievements, including her film's selection for the Cannes Film Festival.

BIBI confirmed, "Yes, my film 'Hopeless' was featured in the Un Certain Regard section of the Cannes Film Festival. It was my first time attending any film festival."

The conversation then shifted to her experience working with Song Joong Ki, the lead actor of 'Hopeless'. BIBI had nothing but praise for him, stating, "He was fantastic."

She then revealed a surprising gesture from Song Joong Ki. "He bought me a new phone. It was the latest model at the time," she said.

Kim Gu Ra, taken aback, asked, "A new phone? Were you using an outdated phone? It's unusual for someone to gift a phone to a colleague, considering most people already have decent phones."

BIBI clarified, laughing, "No, I wasn't using an old phone. Another 'Hopeless' actor, Hong Xa Bin, also received the same phone from Song Joong Ki."

She then shared the backstory, "During a break in shooting, I was browsing my phone and casually mentioned, 'Oh, this new phone is coming out soon!' Song Joong Ki overheard me and immediately said, 'Order it!'"

She added, "Soon after, Song Joong Ki transferred the exact amount needed for the phone to my bank account."

The hosts and other guests were amazed by Song Joong Ki's generous and spontaneous gesture, praising him for his thoughtfulness.

  • Lee Min Ho Shares the Hilarious Story Behind His Famous Baeksang Fall—The One Thing He’ll Never Forget!

Actor Lee Min Ho recently shared an unforgettable and embarrassing moment from his early career, revealing how he became a “falling star” at his first Baeksang Arts Awards.

On the December 25th episode of You Quiz on the Block (Episode 274), Lee Min Ho made a guest appearance and reflected on his rise to fame.

The actor, known for his iconic role as Goo Jun Pyo in Boys Over Flowers, won the Best New Actor award at the Baeksang Arts Awards, but it wasn’t just his victory that grabbed attention.

Lee Min Ho recalled, "I was attending the Baeksang for the first time, and I was so excited. Since I wasn’t going as Goo Jun Pyo, but as Lee Min Ho, I styled my hair in a perm and was ready to go." However, things took an unexpected turn when he tripped and fell on the red carpet.

He sighed, recalling, "That day, I fell. I fell and created so many memes. Even now, I look back and think, 'How did I walk that quickly on the red carpet?'"

Laughing at his own clumsiness, he admitted, "I was moving at the speed of light, no composure, no focus. Honestly, more than the joy of winning the award, that day was chaotic and so embarrassing for me."

Though his win was a highlight, Lee Min Ho humorously shared that the incident of tripping overshadowed the excitement of his achievement.

It’s safe to say that while the fall became a funny meme, it also became a lesson in humility for the actor, and a moment that fans still remember to this day.
