Lay's agency swiftly dismissed the rumors, stating, "The dating speculation is just a rumor. Lay is focused on his promotions, and he has no plans to date."

Despite the denial, netizens on China's social media platform Weibo are buzzing about the dating rumors, making it a trending topic. Notably, the two celebrities have never collaborated on any projects.

Lay, who debuted with EXO in 2012 and remains a member even after leaving SM Entertainment in 2022, and Zhao Lusi, who gained fame since her 2016 debut, are both well-known figures.

Zhao Lusi has starred in popular Chinese dramas such as 'Who Rules the World,' 'The Long Ballad,' and 'Love Like the Galaxy.'

A love letter from actor Kim Soo Hyun to the late Kim Sae Ron during his military service has been made public, adding fuel to the growing controversy.

On March 12, the YouTube channel Garo Sero Research Institute released a video titled "[Shocking Exclusive] Seronero, I Love You (Kim Soo Hyun’s Army Private Letter)." The video revealed a handwritten letter from Kim Soo Hyun to Kim Sae Ron, who was a high school sophomore at the time.

During the broadcast, Garo Sero's representative, Kim Se Ui, claimed that "Seronero was a nickname Kim Soo Hyun used for Kim Sae Ron." The full letter, dated August 6, 2018, included affectionate words such as, "I want to tell you about what I’m seeing and feeling. It’s hard to see you in person, but the one thing I can say for sure is that I miss you." A postcard from 2019 also included the words, "Seronero, I love you."

Kim Soo Hyun served in the military from October 2017 to July 2019 as part of the 15th Infantry Division. However, the controversy doesn’t stop with the letter. More personal photos of Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Sae Ron were also disclosed.

Kim Se Ui stated, "There are more than just a couple of kiss photos. I won’t even mention the worse ones. Anyone can see that it's the face of a minor. This alone is a sex crime."

Previously, on March 10, Garo Sero claimed—citing Kim Sae Ron’s family—that Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Sae Ron had been in a relationship for six years, starting when she was just 15. As backlash grew, Kim Soo Hyun’s side announced plans for legal action. In response, Garo Sero released additional evidence on March 11, including cheek-kissing photos and text messages from Kim Sae Ron, further fueling the rumors.

Public outrage continues to grow, with accusations of pedophilia and grooming spreading online. The advertising industry is reportedly distancing itself from Kim Soo Hyun, and if the situation remains unresolved, he may face contract cancellations and massive financial penalties.

Meanwhile, Kim Soo Hyun’s representatives have denied all allegations, calling them "false rumors," and reaffirming their commitment to legal action.
