• Park Min Young Allegedly Received 250 Million Won from Ex-Boyfriend Kang Jong Hyun, Contradicts Her Previous Statement

In September 2022, Park Min Young swiftly ended her relationship with Kang Jong Hyun amid rumors of their romance.

She publicly announced the breakup, revealing that she was unaware of his true nature, prompting the separation.

During that time, Park Min Young emphasized her independence, denying any material support from Kang Jong Hyun, including money, vehicles, and luxury items.

In an official statement, she declared, "I have never received any financial support. My sister has also resigned from 'INBIOGEN.'"

However, Dispatch reported that Park Min Young did receive 250 million won in cash while dating Kang Jong Hyun.

The funds were transferred from Kang Jong Hyun's company to Park Min Young's personal account through a three-step process.

Contrary to her earlier statement, Kang Jong Hyun utilized a loan method to provide financial support to Park Min Young under the guise of 'living expenses.' This contradicts her claim of never receiving any financial assistance.

Kang Jong Hyun faces legal issues for embezzling company funds for personal use, including purchasing luxury items.

The prosecution revealed that he embezzled over 60 billion won, raising moral concerns if some of it was used for Park Min Young. Bithumb and INBIOGEN are currently in a suspended trading state.

In February of the previous year, Park Min Young underwent a prosecution investigation regarding undisclosed transactions related to Kang Jong Hyun's convertible bond participation. Despite being considered a "simple reference," suspicions of unjust gains remain unresolved.

Kang Jong Hyun was released on bail in December after a 10-month detention on charges of violating the Capital Markets Act.

Dispatch waited 10 months to inquire about the gifts from Kang Jong Hyun to Park Min Young, but both sides remained silent. Park Min Young's side has delayed responding for three weeks.

Meanwhile, Park Min Young returned to TV with the drama 'Marry My Husband' on January 1, pledging dedication to her work amid the ongoing controversy.
