• "I totally agree with her" — Actress Ahn Eun Jin's wise take on "stanning" gains support from K-pop fans

Popular actress Ahn Eun Jin recently shared her views on the concept of "stanning" in the K-pop community.

Appearing as a guest on the January 6th episode of JTBC's 'Knowing Brothers' alongside actor Nam Goong Min, Ahn Eun Jin participated in a game of 'This or That.'

When asked if she would spend 10 minutes talking with her bias Hanni or attend a highly sought-after NewJeans concert, she opted for the 2-hour concert experience.

Her reason? "You shouldn't meet your bias. Stanning someone means liking them based on your perception, and meeting them in person might reveal they're just another human under the same sky."

After the show, fans from various fandoms united in agreement with her perspective. Some comments include:

"So true. I like having some distance when it comes to stanning."

"lol, she could be my moot on Twitter without me knowing."

"I totally agree. I prefer going to concerts than fan sign events."

"I once left a fandom after a fan sign event. It's best when you support them from afar."

"Exactly. That's why I don't want to know their personal lives."

"I'd do anything for a front-row seat at concerts, but fan sign events? Couldn't care less."

    What are your thoughts?
