Stray Kids’ Bodyguard Wins Hearts— Praised for Polite Interaction with Fans at Airport

While there was a lot of talk about stars’ bodyguards pushing fans, Stray Kids‘ bodyguard stood out with his friendly look.

It wasn’t long ago that a video with the title “Stray Kids’s bodyguard who talks like Kang Hyung-wook” went viral on several social media sites, including TikTok.

The new video shows Stray Kids, a boy band from JYP, being surrounded by fans when they get to the airport.

Because guardian A was worried about safety in the middle of the crowd, he told the fans slowly to stop pushing.

He told Stray Kids fans, “Please don’t push,” “I’m sorry, but people over there, please don’t push,” “I told you not to push, please,” and so on.

When K-pop fans and netizens saw the video, they said things like, “The bodyguard is so cute,” “It must have been so hard to try not to make fans feel bad,” “Fans kept the peace, that’s why the bodyguards were so nice to them,” and so on.

Stray Kids, meanwhile, were number one on Japan’s Oricon Yearly Chart.

Their website says that on December 20, Stray Kids’ first EP, “Social Path (feat.LiSA)/Super Bowl – Japanese ver.” and “The Sound,” the band’s first full-length album in Japan, came in at number 4 and 9 on the list of the best albums of the year.

Moreover, their third full record “5-STAR” came in at number 23.
