• BTOB’s Yook Sung Jae Joins iWill Media, Ready for New Challenges

    Artist and singer Yook Sung Jae will begin a new journey with iWill Media.

    iWill Media said in a statement on December 22nd, "We signed an exclusive contract with Yook Sung Jae, who is active in many fields, such as music, acting, and entertainment."

    They went on to say, "We will give Yook Sung Jae our full support so that he can do more activities in the future." They also said, "We will actively support him in BTOB's activities."


    Yook Sung Jae joined BTOB for the first time in 2012.

    People really liked the group after they put out a bunch of hits, like "Wind and Wish," "Missing You," "Only One For Me," and more.

    He's also a successful actor, having featured in many dramas such as "The Golden Spoon", "Mystic Pop-up Bar", "The Village: Achiara's Secret", "Goblin", "Who Are You: School 2015", "Reply 1994", and more.

    A company called iWill Media makes shows and OSTs, like "Moon in the Day," "Gold Mask," "May I Help You," and many more.

    The company wants to become a full-service talent agency by adding artist management to their services after hiring Yook Sung Jae.

    In the meantime, Yook Sung Jae has been taking a break since May, when BTOB's 12th mini album "WIND AND WISH" came out.

    Fans can look forward to a new record from the group in 2024.

    Lee Min Ho recalled, "I was attending the Baeksang for the first time, and I was so excited. Since I wasn’t going as Goo Jun Pyo, but as Lee Min Ho, I styled my hair in a perm and was ready to go." However, things took an unexpected turn when he tripped and fell on the red carpet.

    He sighed, recalling, "That day, I fell. I fell and created so many memes. Even now, I look back and think, 'How did I walk that quickly on the red carpet?'"

    Laughing at his own clumsiness, he admitted, "I was moving at the speed of light, no composure, no focus. Honestly, more than the joy of winning the award, that day was chaotic and so embarrassing for me."

    Though his win was a highlight, Lee Min Ho humorously shared that the incident of tripping overshadowed the excitement of his achievement.

    It’s safe to say that while the fall became a funny meme, it also became a lesson in humility for the actor, and a moment that fans still remember to this day.
