• RIIZE's Wonbin Faces Height Backlash, Fans Counter with Supportive Messages

A "height controversy" recently made Wonbin from RIIZE a topic of conversation.

Since his first appearance with RIIZE, Wonbin has gotten a lot of attention and is now one of the hottest male stars from the 5th generation.

He is loved and praised by both fans and the public because he looks great and has good skills.

But it looks like Wonbin's popularity has led to some unfair criticism, like the current "height controversy."

On December 18, a post called "RIIZE's Wonbin's Height Controversy" was made on the Korean site Pann Nate. It got over 160,000 views and almost 500 comments.

The post included different videos of Wonbin posing with other stars and RIIZE members, and most of the time, he looked noticeably shorter.

There have been a lot of responses from fans who support Wonbin, saying that criticizing the idol for his height is pointless since the male idol has no control over it.

Several people also said that many of the videos were chosen to make Wonbin look smaller on purpose.

They pointed out that Wonbin wasn't standing straight in some shots or was standing next to the tallest people in his group.

Really, RIIZE Wonbin is the shortest person in his group. He is thought to be about 170–175 cm (5’7–5’9) tall.

Other than that, RIIZE Wonbin is between 178 and 187 cm (5'6" and 6'2") tall.

What people have to say about this:

What's the big deal about this?

He can't really change how tall he is.

Even though I don't like RIIZE, it really bothers me when guys are made fun of for being tall.

People who aren't interested in Wonbin's skills or looks will only come for his height.

I didn't think people would care so much about how tall someone else is.

He's one of the most well-known male stars from the fifth generation, so it doesn't really matter.

He's about the same height as most guys.

As you can see, most of the videos are of Wonbin moving while bending his body… He also has good dimensions in a number of pictures.
