• Netizens Express their Opinions on RIIZE’s Seunghan’s Affordable Photocard Price

The photocard price of K-Pop idols often reflects their popularity, and that of RIIZE’s Seunghan is now alarmingly low.

On November 18, a topic titled “The price of Seunghan’s photocard is so low” was published on the Korean forum Pann Nate.

In the topic, the original author attached an image of 4 Lucky Draw photocards of 4 of RIIZE members, including Seunghan, who has recently been embroiled in controversies due to leaked footage of his Instagram lives.

Particularly, the photocard of Seunghan was being sold for 3,500 won (around 2 USD), whilst that of other members were listed at 22,000 to 30,000 won (16 – 23 USD), showing an almost ten-fold difference.

Normally, photocard prices reflect the popularity of the members in the fan community, and the higher the price, the more fans a member has.

Therefore, the alarmingly low price of Seunghan’s LD photocard draws concerns.

Below are some comments from Korean netizens under this topic:

    3,000 won for him?

Even if it’s on sale for 300 won, I won’t buy it

3,500 won is still too expensive for him

    Everytime I buy an album, I hope I don’t get him….

Lucky Draw photocards are normally expensive guys.

Selling it for 3,500 won is basically begging for people to take it off their hands

To be honest, as a muggle (non Kpop fan) who only listens to songs that have become hits, I would ignore the controversy if he is at least good looking.

However, his face is worse than a random man on the street, and isn’t his height also the average height?

It’s a shame that the popular member of RIIZE pull his status up and allow him to ride their wave and make a lot of money

However, international fans show a different reaction, with many saying that Seunghan’s photocard price has been low since before the controversy, especially when compared to popular members like Wonbin and Anton.

Some also expressed concern and hoping for SM Entertainment to address the issue and do damage control to avoid Seunghan being singled out.
