• SM Entertainment receives backlash for misleading Red Velvet fans with incorrect filming spot

SM Entertainment is receiving backlash for mistakenly providing the wrong filming location to Red Velvet fans.

On November 16, fans started discussing the mistake made by SM Entertainment regarding the 'Inkigayo' filming for Red Velvet's "Chill Kill" comeback.

One fan published a viral post titled "Red Velvet are apologizing after SM 3.0 gave the wrong location for the pre-filming," shedding light on the issue.

According to the post, SM Entertainment instructed fans to go to the SBS set in Deungchondong for the 'Inkigayo' recording, when in reality, the filming was taking place in Sangamdong, a location 50 minutes away.

Some screenshots included in the post show that the Red Velvet members themselves directly apologized to fans upon discovering that their label had given the wrong location. Seulgi's message stated, "Today was our first recording, and something happened that we're so sorry about... Sigh... I can't believe it. Firstly, I want to thank and apologize to Reveluv who waited in the cold early this morning. This won't ever happen again.

We're taking this incident seriously, and in the future, we'll carefully check, so Reveluv don't suffer because of us.

Thank you for coming to support us again. Thanks to you, we were able to finish filming well. The fan chants were the best!" Irene also wrote, "I heard they gave the wrong location in Deungchondong. I hope you all didn't wait in the rain... I think they were confused because the recordings usually happen in Deungchondong. I'm sorry." Wendy added, "You all are going through so much this morning because of us," while Joy stated, "We'll let the label know, so this doesn't happen again. I know you all were waiting really early this morning to see our first stage. I'm seriously so sorry," and Yeri expressed, "I heard the label gave the wrong location today. I'm so sorry."

Fans feel that SM Entertainment has abandoned them and claim that the fan managers were not informed about the mistake. Some people are also criticizing the label for remaining silent while the Red Velvet members took responsibility and apologized. What are your thoughts on this issue?

  • Kwon Eun Bi proudly says “I don’t share income anymore” after becoming a building owner thanks to Waterbomb popularity

Kwon Eun Bi is living the dream — solo success, tons of ads, and now… a building under her name!

On April 21, a new episode was uploaded on the Donghaemul and Baekdu Eunhyuk YouTube channel.

In the video, Kwon Eun Bi opened up about her viral Waterbomb moment, her career boost, and her big investment move.

The former IZ*ONE member confidently said, “Is there a Waterbomb goddess I feel competitive with? Honestly, not even one. I don’t care. Aren’t I the best?” Eunhyuk backed her up, saying, “The original has a different level. I can’t argue with that.”

Eun Bi also talked about how nervous she was at the time. “That was my first festival in Seoul. I was alone on such a big stage, and I was so nervous. You never know when success will hit. I didn’t think that performance would blow up,” she said.

Surprisingly, she didn’t feel the buzz while performing. “I was on stage around 1 PM, and there were still lots of empty seats. I kept thinking, ‘Is this okay? What if it goes badly?’ But when I got home, the reaction just exploded. I was shocked!”

Eunhyuk asked, “You must’ve gotten a lot of ads after that, right?” She replied with a smile, “Yes, I did a lot of ads after Waterbomb.” KCM chimed in and teased, “You even bought a building with all that money!”

Eun Bi laughed and admitted, “I was already making money before, but after Waterbomb, the income ratio felt like 3 to 7. I got tons of commercial deals and events. And since I’m working alone now, I don’t need to share my income with group members, so that helped a lot.”

Netizens are cheering her on, calling her a true queen of the solo era — with business smarts to match her talent!
