• Lee Dong Wook shares: "I got 16kg heavier in the military and wore loose pants"

Actor Lee Dong Wook recently made a surprising confession during an appearance on the YouTube channel "Life Without A Plan." The video, titled "Lee Dong Wook wants to play games," featured a conversation between Lee Dong-wook and Monsta X's Hyungwon, who was the host.

During the conversation, Hyungwon asked Lee Dong Wook if he manages his diet. To this, Lee Dong Wook responded by saying, "No, I don't." He further revealed, "My face easily gets swollen, and I'm still gaining weight." This statement caught everyone's attention.

Hyungwon then shared his own concern about having chubby cheeks and expressed his desire to have a face without any fat. In response, Lee Dong Wook attributed his slimmer face to his age and mentioned that he lost the fat after returning from the military.

This led Hyungwon to mention his own plans of intentionally gaining weight during his military service and focusing on working out.

Lee Dong Wook, on the other hand, shared his personal experience, stating that he actually gained 16 kilograms during his military service.

Lee Dong Wook admitted that his weight gain was not healthy. He explained that he simply indulged in eating food from the cafeteria without exercising. The result was that the military uniforms provided to him no longer fit, forcing him to loosen his pants.

This revelation surprised viewers and highlighted the challenges actors face when it comes to managing their physique. Lee Dong Wook's honesty about his weight gain in the military adds to his relatability and shows that even celebrities struggle with maintaining their desired appearance.'
