On October 24 KST, a representative from YG Entertainment confirmed that Jisoo has received an offer to appear in the film and is currently reviewing the proposal.

Based on a popular web novel of the same name, 'Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint' tells the story of Kim Dok Ja, the protagonist who suddenly finds himself in a world that has transformed according to the events of the novel he had been reading.

His mission becomes restoring the world to its original state.

If Jisoo accepts the offer, she is likely to portray the character Lee Ji Hye, a colleague of Yoo Jung Hyuk. Yoo Jung Hyuk plays a crucial role in the story, working alongside Kim Dok Ja to undo the changes brought about by the novel's narrative.

Previous reports have mentioned that actors Lee Min Ho and Ahn Hyo Seop are being considered for the roles of Yoo Jung Hyuk and Kim Dok Ja respectively.
