• "They did a collab before, right?" — Former NMIXX member Jinni surprises netizens by not recognizing Kep1er

Former NMIXX member, Jinni, is causing a buzz with her recent comment about the group Kep1er.

On October 15, a post about Jinni started trending on Nate's community board, Pann, under the title, "JINNI DOESN'T KNOW KEP1ER." A screenshot from a Twitter user's video call with Jinni was shared, where they asked her about Kep1er.

During their chat, the Twitter user mentioned their favorite members in various K-pop groups, including Karina from aespa, Ahn Yujin from IVE, Jennie from BLACKPINK, and Sieun from STAYC.

However, when asked about Kep1er, Jinni surprised the user by saying she didn't know Kep1er at all, not even a single member.

The netizen who posted this remarked, "She even had a collaboration stage with Kep1er during MAMA, which is why the fan asked her?."

Other netizens had various opinions on the matter:

"It's okay if she doesn't know. Does she really need to know everyone?"

"But they did perform together, right?"

"I thought Jinni had a reaction video singing 'WA DA DA' during MAMA. How does she not know them?"

"I don't understand why fans ask these questions in the first place."

"Maybe she was put on the spot and couldn't think of an answer."

"It's okay if she doesn't know. Maybe she knows the group and a few songs but not the members."

    "Who cares?"

"They probably prepared their collaboration stages separately."

"Maybe it's not that she doesn't know the group; it's just that there are so many members, nobody comes to her mind. Why are fans making a big deal out of it?"

"This is why I hope they stop asking 4th-gen idols about their biases. It just attracts haters."

  • Former Crayon Pop's ChoA Opens Up About Her Struggle with Cervical Cancer: 'I Dream of the Day I Can Have a Drink with My Husband Again'"

ChoA, former member of the girl group Crayon Pop, has bravely shared her ongoing battle with cervical cancer and her emotional journey.

On January 28, ChoA posted a heartfelt update on her social media, explaining her struggles. "I usually laugh, talk, and live my life as usual, but there are moments when I suddenly face a reality that isn’t like before, and it gets tough," she shared.

She went on to say, "Recently, something difficult happened, and in the past, I would have had a drink with my husband to shake it off. I really miss being able to do that."

ChoA admitted that she still can’t fully believe her diagnosis. "When I face the reality I’ve been avoiding, my heart that I’ve built up breaks down," she said. "But the life I’m living now, which I’m still enjoying, is something that someone else might be wishing for. I try to gather my thoughts again with gratitude."

She also expressed hope for the future, saying, "Lately, I dream of a day five years from now when I’ll be declared cancer-free and be able to have a drink with my husband after putting the kids to bed, after all the struggles. It’s been almost two years, so I believe the day I get that clean bill of health will come soon."

ChoA married a businessman in 2021, six years older than her. In October 2023, she revealed her cervical cancer diagnosis, sharing that she had been diagnosed during a routine check-up in her first year of marriage.

Despite everything, ChoA remains hopeful, noting that the cancer was smaller than expected during surgery, and she was able to preserve her fertility—a step closer to her dream of becoming a mother.
