  • Yoon Eun Hye confesses she kissed Gong Yoo without a script in 'Coffee Prince'

Actress Yoon Eun Hye revealed a surprising behind-the-scenes story from her legendary drama Coffee Prince, and it’s making fans feel nostalgic all over again.

On the May 10 episode of MBC’s variety show The Manager, Yoon Eun Hye visited her manager’s grandmother in Taean. While chatting in the car, she asked her manager which scene from her dramas was the most memorable.

Her manager instantly said the “house date” scene with Gong Yoo in Coffee Prince, saying, “It was kind of sexy. You put your hand on his back… and Eun Chan was leading. How could you lead like that?”

The comment made both of them laugh, and Yoon Eun Hye admitted, “It really does look quite sexy now,” while shyly covering her face.

She also shared that her personal favorite was the royal night scene with Joo Ji Hoon in Princess Hours.

“Watching it again made my heart flutter,” she said, reminiscing about how cute the scene was — including a playful moment cracking eggs and removing her traditional wig.

But what really caught attention was a story she shared from Coffee Prince that fans had never heard before.

Yoon Eun Hye revealed, “After a kiss scene, there was a rooftop dinner. While we were talking sweetly, I leaned on Gong Yoo’s back… and I kissed him without even realizing it. It wasn’t in the script, and it wasn’t supposed to be filmed — but I just kissed him naturally.”

To her surprise, the cameras actually caught the unscripted moment. Actress Chae Jung An, who also starred in Coffee Prince, later asked her, “Are you two dating? That’s not the kind of acting just anyone can do.”

Yoon Eun Hye smiled as she recalled the moment, saying, “At that time, Chae Jung An’s character Yu Ju seemed a bit jealous. She looked so pretty, I started wearing more feminine clothes too.” Her emotional attachment to the character went so deep, it started blending into real life.

The unexpected confession left viewers amazed by her deep immersion into the role — and just how real the chemistry between her and Gong Yoo felt on and off screen.

Would you have guessed that kiss wasn’t in the script?
