• ""Lately, it hasn't been fun…""How are Korean Netizens Reacting to Running Man's decline in ratings recently?

Netizens talked about the show's low numbers.

Netizens responded to the recent low ratings for Running Man.

A post called "Running Man's Shocking Recent Ratings" went popular on June 21. As of the time this piece was written, the author of the post, which has been seen over 120,000 times, had posted recent ratings for Running Man.

Running Man once got an 18% rating, but its most recent show only got a 2.8% rating. Even though TV ratings have dropped a lot as streaming services like Netflix and Wavve (which stream live episodes) have become more popular, a 2.8% number is still scary.

The show, which started airing in 2010 and is currently Korea's longest-running variety show, is known for its weird missions and the way the members get along.

Unfortunately for the show, though, people haven't been watching it as often as they used to.

Some Netizens gave reasons for the show's low ratings, while others supported the show by saying that ratings for all variety shows have dropped sharply.

    "Lately, it hasn't been fun…"

"But are there any shows that have a lot of viewers? I'm sure the numbers aren't as good as they used to be."

"I'm pretty sure that it doesn't matter because more people watch Running Man on YouTube. People don't seem to care about TV ratings today, in my opinion."

"I don't watch the live episodes, but I do watch clips on YouTube or stream the episode on Wavve."

"I don't really watch the live shows… Even if I wanted to, I couldn't. I stopped watching TV, LOL."

"I don't watch the live episodes, but instead watch them on (streaming sites) while I eat."

"I don't really watch live episodes of variety shows these days. I stream all of them or watch YouTube videos of their best moments."

"I even stream the episodes live on Wavve,"
