aespa's Giselle to Miss 'The Governors Ball Music Festival 2023' Due to Health Reasons

In unfortunate news for fans of K-pop group aespa, member Giselle will be absent from the upcoming 'The Governors Ball Music Festival 2023' following her recent appearance on the popular variety show 'Ask Us Anything'.

On June 7th, SM Entertainment, the agency representing aespa, took to their official Twitter account to deliver the announcement.

According to the statement released by the agency, aespa's Giselle will be unable to participate in 'The Governors Ball Music Festival 2023' due to health issues.

SM Entertainment expressed their regret in informing American fans that Giselle will not be able to join the highly anticipated Governors Ball performance.

Scheduled to take place on June 10th in New York, 'The Governors Ball Music Festival 2023' had initially included aespa as one of the main stage acts.

However, with Giselle's absence, it is now expected that only Karina, Winter, and Ningning will grace the stage.

Supporters have been voicing their thoughts, emphasizing the importance of Giselle's well-being and expressing hopes for her to take some time to rest.

Despite this setback, aespa is preparing to embark on their first solo concert, titled 'SYNK: HYPER LINE,' which will mark the beginning of their comprehensive tour spanning North America and Europe.

Following their performances in Jakarta, Indonesia on June 24th and the Tokyo Dome on August 5th and 6th, the group will kick off their first solo concert in Los Angeles on August 13th.

This will be followed by shows in Dallas, Miami, Atlanta, Washington D.C., Chicago, Boston, Brooklyn, and eight other cities across the United States.

In September, aespa is set to tour six major cities in South America and Europe, including Mexico City, São Paulo in Brazil, Santiago in Chile, Berlin in Germany, London in the United Kingdom, and Paris in France.

Fans eagerly await further updates on Giselle's health and extend their support and well-wishes to the talented artist.

  • Jo Bo Ah reveals surprising side effect of hair removal that causes sweat in unexpected places

Actress Jo Bo Ah recently opened up about an unexpected struggle she faced after getting hair removal.

On May 7, a new video was uploaded to the YouTube channel Narae's Style, where Jo Bo Ah appeared as a guest alongside Park Na Rae.

During the video, the two stars were eating spicy food, and while Park Na Rae’s face was visibly sweating, Jo Bo Ah remained fresh and dry.

Park Na Rae couldn’t help but ask, “Do actors take special medicine to stop sweating? When we filmed From the New World, the island was so hot.”

She added, "We were outside talking about our wishes, and I said, ‘I just want to take a shower and take off all my clothes.’ I thought, ‘Forget it’, and just took a shower,” she shared.

She continued, “But Bo Ah didn’t sweat at all and stayed so fresh. I thought, ‘Do actors take something to stop sweating?’”

Jo Bo Ah then confessed, “After I got hair removal, I sweat in places I shouldn’t.”

Curious, Park Na Rae asked, “Where exactly do you sweat that you shouldn’t?” Jo Bo Ah explained, “I don’t do hair removal on my back, so I sweat there. But other places start to sweat instead. I sweat around my stomach, and sometimes sweat even appears above my belly button.”

Park Na Rae was clearly shocked and responded, “I didn’t know that’s a thing.” Jo Bo Ah laughed and reassured her, “It’s not really a big problem, but this area (around the belly button) gets wet.”

It looks like hair removal has its unexpected side effects, and Jo Bo Ah isn’t the only one dealing with them!
