  • Stray Kids Donates a Huge 800 Million KRW to Wildfire Relief Efforts: "Our Hearts go out to the Victims"

    Stray Kids has stepped up to help those affected by the devastating wildfires in Ulsan, Gyeongbuk, and Gyeongnam by making a generous donation.

    On April 1, JYP Entertainment announced that Stray Kids donated a total of 800 million KRW (approximately $600,000 USD) to support emergency relief efforts in the affected regions.

    The group donated 400 million KRW to the Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association and another 400 million KRW to World Vision, requesting that the funds be used for urgent aid.

    The donation will help provide emergency relief supplies, financial assistance for affected residents, and support for firefighters battling the wildfires.

    Through their agency, Stray Kids expressed their concern, saying, "We deeply empathize with the pain of those who lost their daily lives in an instant. We also want to express our gratitude to everyone working tirelessly to help."

    This isn’t the first time Stray Kids has shown their generosity. The group has continuously given back to those in need, supporting children overseas since 2014, starting personal sponsorships in 2020, and providing meal support for underprivileged communities in Korea.

    They have also donated to emergency relief efforts, including aid for the 2023 Syria-Türkiye earthquake and global food crisis relief projects in 2024.
