• Singer Ravi's Court Appearance Raises Eyebrows Amid Alleged Military Service Evasion Scandal

South Korean singer Ravi has been making headlines lately for all the wrong reasons.

He was accused of faking epilepsy to evade mandatory military service and appeared in court on April 7th to face charges of violating the Military Service Act.

During the court appearance, Ravi remained silent and did not answer any questions from the reporters.

He was wearing a black suit and a mask, which covered most of his face, but his dark complexion was visible.

According to the indictment, Ravi conspired with a military service broker named Gu Mo, who created a military service evasion scenario.

Gu suggested that Ravi should pretend to have epilepsy, and then he would be able to obtain prescription drugs and a medical diagnosis for military exemption.

Gu even went as far as to send a text message to Kim Mo, co-CEO of Ravi's entertainment planning company, Groovlin, saying "Good, you're exempt from military service," which further led to public criticism.

Ravi was indicted without detention last year on charges of evading military service.

He is now facing charges of violating the Military Service Act, which carries a maximum sentence of three years in prison.

Netizens have been expressing their opinions on social media regarding Ravi's case. Many are outraged and feel that he should be held accountable for his actions.

One netizen commented, "It's really disappointing to see celebrities trying to evade military service. They should be setting a good example for their fans, not breaking the law."

Another netizen wrote, "It's not fair that some people are trying to evade military service while others are risking their lives to protect our country. Ravi should be punished for what he did."

As Ravi's case continues to unfold, it remains to be seen what the outcome will be. However, it is clear that his actions have not gone unnoticed and have caused significant public backlash.
