K-pop fans were taken aback after seeing video of SHINee‘s Onew without makeup.
On March 17th, a post on Nate‘s community portal Pann titled “SHINee’s Onew lately… Shocking” featured pictures of the singer on his way to a recording of ‘Music Bank.’ Despite not wearing any makeup, netizens expressed their surprise over how different Onew looked.
Some netizens even went as far as suggesting that he needed to undergo some testing or that he had suddenly aged. Others pointed out that former TVXQ member Yoochun also experienced a similar aging process.
Many, however, commended Onew for his confidence, saying that it was impressive to see a celebrity not always wearing makeup.
Netizens weighed in on the topic with comments such as:
“It’s still shocking even if he has no makeup on”
“He suddenly aged, but we can’t deny a man’s age”
“It’s good to see a celebrity who has high confidence even without makeup.”
