• Actor Yoo Ah In Undergoes Search and Seizure of Residence for Alleged Drug Use

    Yoo Ah In has undergone a search and seizure of his residence for alleged drug use.

    According to Star News on March 7th, the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency's narcotics investigation team conducted a search and seizure of Yoo Ah In's residence in Itaewon-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, from 3:30 pm on the same day to secure relevant evidence.

    After the search ended at Yoo Ah In's residence at around 4:40 pm, the police left the scene. Yoo Ah In had previously revealed his three-story, high-end, detached house in Itaewon-dong during his appearance on "Home Alone" in June 2020.

    However, Yoo Ah In had since moved to a different address in Hannam-dong after the broadcast. Itaewon-dong was listed as Yoo Ah In's residential address on his resident registration.

    A real estate agent also confirmed to Star News that "Yoo Ah In moved out after 'Home Alone' broadcast."

    Last month, Yoo Ah In underwent a body search by the police immediately after entering Incheon International Airport following a trip to the United States with acquaintances.

    At that time,Yoo Ah In underwent urine and hair tests by the National Forensic Service, which showed positive results for marijuana in his urine and propofol, cocaine, and ketamine in his hair.

    Meanwhile, Police Commissioner Yoon Hee-geun said at a meeting held at the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency in Seodaemun-gu on March 6th, "An investigation is underway at the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency.

    We are analyzing medical records of the subject and conducting investigations on medical institutions and clinics. We will also summon Yoo Ah In for questioning."
