Stray Kids’ Felix is getting unfair criticism after making a “smoking gesture” on stage

Fans quickly stood up for him.

Netizens found a video of Stray Kids’ Felix acting like he’s smoking a cigarette on stage.

This has led to some unfair criticism of Felix.

As part of their Manic world tour, Stray Kids just finished three shows in Australia.

At the end of one of the shows, Felix did something that made people on the Internet take notice.

Fans at the show say that when Felix heard Seungmin say, “We were lit!” he made a move that looked like he was putting a cigarette on the ground.

In a post on an online forum called “Felix Pretending to be a Litterbug Smoker on Stage During a Concert,” an anonymous user gave a negative view of the situation and said that Felix was just pretending to be kind.

“This Stray Kids member used to be very quiet in Korea, probably because he doesn’t speak Korean. But now that he is overseas and can talk to people in English, he doesn’t feel so stifled. So much for the idea of a “angel.” — OP

Netizens who commented on the post said that the OP was wrong about what they thought.

“Okay, but from the way he moves his legs, you can tell. He doesn’t smoke. LOL. It’s clear that it’s a move of some kind. Don’t worry about everything so much, OP. What does it matter?”

Felix did that because Seungmin said something like, “We destroyed this stage!” We were on fire!’ means… There is a dance move with that name that you can look up.”

“If you want to know what he’s doing, take a look at this: (YouTube link).”

“They call it the “Smoke Gesture.” What dancers do. LMAO. If you don’t know what you’re talking about, don’t start with his personality and sh*t. All of this post says more about you than it does about him. HAHA.”

After the initial backlash, fans also came to Felix‘s defense and said that dancers do the gesture when they are competing against each other in dance battles.

Fans also said that, even if that wasn’t true, everyone has pretended to smoke at some point.

A lot of people also said that the backlash against Felix was “not necessary.”
