Jay B of GOT7 has finally shared photos of himself for the first time since he quietly joined the military.

Fans of GOT7 have known for a while that the group's leader would be joining the army this year, like many other K-Pop stars.

Jay B "announced" the date of his enlistment when his most recent album, Seasonal Hiatus, came out.

Later, it was confirmed that his "seasonal hiatus" had started when an article about his donation of 60 million KRW (about $46,300 USD) to the Green Umbrella Child Fund Korea confirmed that he was "currently finishing his military duty as a public service work personnel."

Since he joined the army, his fans have been eagerly waiting for news about him. Soon after the article was shared, Jay B did a voice-only live stream on Instagram where he talked to fans and said he joined the military on February 2.

Even though this was a nice thing to do, fans have been wanting to see Jay B's face and the always-popular buzz cut photo that enlistees get.

Fans finally got what they wanted when Jay B (sort of) posted photos of himself with his new haircut.

Jay B posted photos to his Instagram account on February 21, KST. The photos not only show how his hair has grown out, but also how short it is.

After his "hiatus," fans were glad to see the star again.
